Podcast: Howard Thurman’s Jesus and the Disinherited

With this post, we’re excited to launch the Faith and Justice Fellowship podcast! Once the fellowship year begins in September, we’ll be releasing two episodes per monthly unit. Our general plan in the first part of the month is for D.L. Mayfield and I, along with other teaching fellows, to talk about the content for each unit as a way to introduce the key ideas we’ll be encountering. Then in the latter part of each month, Danielle will invite special guests to help us move toward embodying spiritual practices.

In our first, experimental summer episode, we talk about why Thurman’s work is so integral to the year ahead. Later this week, we’ll post a discussion forum where you can share thoughts and questions emerging as you work through the book. Happy listening and reading! I’m looking forward to our conversations!
