Save the Date: Winter Gathering 2025

The longing for meaningful human relationships remains one enduring constant in a topsy-turvy world. Even as people leave churches in record numbers, the quest for community continues unabated. Why is the search for relational connection, often marked by disappointment, still so persistent? Join us as we reflect on the future of faith by imagining life together.

  • When: Jan 30 – Feb 1, 2025
  • Where: 459 Geary, Downtown SF (Thurs & Sat); 1021 Sanchez, Noe Valley (Fri)

In addition to members of our team like Adriene Thorne, Gail Song Bantum, Peter Choi, Sophie Callahan, and Tyler Sit, we will be joined by special guest speakers reflecting on their recent books:

  • Angela Parker, author of If God Still Breathes, Why Can’t I?: Black Lives Matter and Biblical Authority (Eerdmans, 2021)
  • Hahrie Han, author of Undivided: The Quest for Racial Solidarity in an American Church (Knopf, 2024)
  • Paula Stone Williams, author of As a Woman: What I Learned about Power, Sex, and the Patriarchy after I Transitioned (Atria Books, 2021)
  • Yii-Jan Lin, author of Immigration and Apocalypse: How the Book of Revelation Shaped American Immigration (Yale University Press, 2024)
